Fireworks in the Scranton Area

1. Downtown Scranton: 7/2, Scranton, Lackawanna County Courthouse, 9:30 PM
2. Carbondale Area:
The night will include live music plus food and drink specials at Hotel Anthracite's Kol Steakhouse along with fireworks.
When: Friday, July 2, 5 p.m.

2. Clarks Summit Area: Rotary Club of the Abingtons:
Otto’s Amusements will provide children's games and amusements, and several food vendors will sell items such as french fries, lemonade, ethnic foods, ice cream and much more. The Rotary Club will sell holiday novelties and light ropes. Admission is free, but parking costs $10.
When: Friday, July 2; grounds open, 5 p.m. (rain date: Saturday, July 3)

3. Honesdale Area (Wayne County)
The Greater Honesdale Partnership presents this event that includes food and novelty vendors. The Doug Smith Band will perform unless the rain date is used, in which case the Fabulous 45’s will perform instead.
When: Friday, July 2, time to be announced; fireworks, dusk (rain date: Saturday, July 3)

4. North Pocono Area:
North Pocono Minisink Lions Club Fireworks Extravaganza
Gino Mercuri "The Young Elvis" will perform with the Luongo Brothers. Organizers will accept donations for scholarships.
When: Friday, July 2, 6 p.m. (rain date: Saturday, July 3)

Lake Ariel Volunteer Company Fireman’s Picnic
The event will include a fireman's parade and music with fireworks starting at dusk.
When: Saturday, July 3, 6 p.m. (rain date: Friday, July 9)
