March 21 began the season of Spring! I love the birds singing, children playing, and the outside spring activities. Mark your calendars for a great family fun event, ROAR, a running race with fun for the whole family. The event is on May 6, 2017 and we hope to see you there!

Mark your calendar for 5.06.17! All are invited to attend the fifth and final Ryan O’Malley Annual Race (ROAR 5K), taking place on The University of Scranton’s third annual Day of Giving. To signify the joining of these two events, this year’s race will be called the ROAR 5.06K and will introduce participants to a new running route that begins and ends on campus. In addition to the race, there will be a kid’s fun-run, raffles, entertainment and refreshments.
The race benefits The Ryan T. O’Malley ’99 Memorial Scholarship, and was established by professor Jack ’64 and Helene O’Malley, along with their children. The scholarship provides financial aid to computer science majors who, like Ryan, are committed to fitness and community service.
